A new strategic milestone towards the clinical validation of healthy aging technologies.
In light of aging populations and the challenges of home care, healthy aging technologies are now expected to demonstrate a concrete impact on care and support pathways.
Against this backdrop, Telegrafik, a French company specializing in connected solutions for healthy aging, has been named a winner of the Grand Défi France 2030 program: “Digital medical devices for the elderly and healthy aging.”
This recognition marks a structural milestone for the Toulouse-based company, which is launching a clinical validation and CE marking process for its technological platform and its connected tele-vigilance solution for nighttime prevention, BED OTONO-ME.
Demonstrating the concrete impact of technology on home care
For over 12 years, Telegrafik has been developing digital solutions designed to strengthen autonomy loss prevention, secure vulnerable individuals, and improve coordination among healthcare and care professionals.
Currently deployed across more than 520 sites, Telegrafik’s solutions support over 35,000 people through connected devices engineered to enhance reinforced home care and healthy aging journeys.
With this project supported under the France 2030 framework, Telegrafik now aims to reach a new milestone: producing robust clinical, organizational, and medico-economic evidence regarding the impact of its solutions.
The project will rely on a prospective, interventional multicenter study conducted in mainland France and overseas territories to evaluate:
- The solutions’ capacity to enable longer home care.
- Their impact on reducing unscheduled hospitalizations and emergency room visits.
- The improvement of professional coordination through data provided by connected solutions.
A platform designed to provide actionable insights for professionals
The Telegrafik platform centralizes and analyzes data from sensors and connected devices to help professionals better identify fragility situations and strengthen prevention.
Among the integrated solutions is BED OTONO-ME, a connected tele-vigilance solution dedicated to nighttime prevention.
The collected data is analyzed using artificial intelligence algorithms to help professionals better anticipate potential risk situations.
A consortium bringing together hospital players, industrial leaders, and aging experts
The project will be carried out alongside several partners committed to healthcare innovation and healthy aging:
- Withings, an industrial leader specializing in connected medical devices.
- The RI2S experimentation living lab, in partnership with the Castres-Mazamet Hospital Center.
- The Martinique University Hospital.
- The Tours Regional University Hospital.
The project will also be guided by a scientific committee composed of Gérond’if, alongside professors and doctors specializing in geriatrics.
This collaboration ensures the study will be conducted under real-world usage conditions, closely aligned with the needs of both professionals and the individuals they support.
